Last weekend Andy and I went along to a pottery throwdown class at a lovely little Ceramics Studio near Alderminster. It’s a gorgeous location on the edge of the Cotswolds, and we really enjoyed the class – more info on our shabby attempts at vases to follow in a couple of weeks when our creations have emerged from the kiln!
The class was set inside the studio, which doubles up as an art gallery, and which is full of beautiful creations. As we drank our coffee from adorable rustic mugs and strolled around the room we stumbled across the work of their artist in residence, Rhian Malin. This beautiful porcelain work was like a breath of fresh air – heart-stoppingly delicate yet also somehow organic. There’s a bit of a Scandanavian feel to them too.
Put simply, I just had to share!
